Orvieto, Italy!

The town of Orvieto is in the Umbria region of Italy. This weekend starting off with visiting an outdoor market. Chef Lorenzo picked out our lunch menu by looking around at what was being sold in the market. After we bought all of our ingredients, we headed to Zeppelin Restaurant. In the back we prepared two pasta dishes, biscotti, pizza, lamb stew, and gelato. I got hands on experience making the gnocchi and the risotto! The lunch tasted so good and was probably my favorite meal because it was cooked with love! Dinner was also amazing with more lamb, bean soup, dessert and lots of wine! The next day we went to an olive oil farm and a winery. We tried five wines total and saw the cave where the wines are stored. After one last lunch at Zeppelin with chick pea flan, manicotti, and another dessert, we headed back to Roma.
